Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her character Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to the play school and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. She earned a Bachelors in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999, and during the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, they got married in 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, 2011they renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her tv role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to viewers of the show in a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the series. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
